Given our most recent recession and the competitive pressures of an increasingly global economy, it is common for prospective college students to have angst and anxiety about their future and their place in it. In response, many students choose majors that place practicality over purpose, a “safe” and “certain” journey that oftentimes sidesteps one’s talents, skills, and passions. Enter Calvin LifeWork, a comprehensive and incentive-based program that explores the nuance of vocation, examines the essentials of life, and strengthens a student’s faith.
To introduce this unique program to prospective students, parents, and corporate sponsors, Calvin wanted to a create an animated flagship video that would capture LifeWork’s integrated, co-curricular approach to career development while attracting its primary audience to learn more. We worked with Calvin to distill the vision of the program, craft a compelling script, and create a hand-animated video that speaks to the school’s earnestness and the program’s inventiveness.
